What is the LT Open?
The LT Open is the ultimate singles pickleball tournament where players battle to advance through a 128-person qualifier for a shot at the ultimate championship and an industry-leading $50K grand prize! Bringing together top pickleball athletes from all affiliations, this premier tournament will showcase the highest level of competition and an industry-leading $250k prize purse, with payouts starting in the round of 32, while delivering an unmatched fan experience. For the first time, athletes from all tours and all nations are invited to compete and claim the title of LT Open Champion!
When is the LT Open?
The LT Open runs October 16-19, 2025
Qualifier Bracket will start on October 1, with the final 16 advancing to the Main Draw. Main Draw begins on Friday, October 17, 2025 and culminates with the Championship Matches on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Will the pickleball courts be available for other play during the tournament?
No. On the days when these events are taking place, the club will be closed to all other play, unless otherwise specified by the hosting club’s Pickleball Staff. All other Life Time Clubs will continue to operate according to their schedule in-app.
Can family/friends attend the LT Open matches in person?
Yes, we encourage friends and family members to come and support the players. Please have guests RSVP to lock in their complimentary Courtside + Fan Access pass here.
What are the payouts for top finishers at the LT Open?
Prize Payouts:
Only competitors who advance from the Round of 32 and beyond receive prize money. Payouts/bracket are:
Champion (1): $50,000
Runner-Up (1): $15,000
Semifinalists (2): $8,000 each
Quarterfinalists (4): $3,000 each
Round of 16 (8): $2,000 each
Round of 32 (16): $1,000 each
Men's Total Prize Purse: $125,000
Women's Total Prize Purse: $125,000
Total LT Open Prize Purse: $250,000

Can I volunteer at the LT Open?
Yes! Make a difference and be part of the action by joining the LT Open volunteer team. We’re looking for up to 200 volunteers to help bring this elite singles pickleball tournament to life.
Volunteer roles may include:
Event setup and teardown
Guest and athlete check-in
Court support and logistics
Hospitality assistance
Sponsor and vendor support
Crowd engagement and guest experience
Volunteer requirements:
Volunteers must be 13 years or older
Minors must be accompanied by an adult
Shifts will be available throughout the tournament week
No experience necessary—just enthusiasm and reliability!

Event Arrival + Parking for the LT Open
We’re excited to welcome you to the LT Open! Ride share drop-offs can use the main entrance to Life Time Peachtree Corners (6350 Courtside Dr NW). We encourage you to carpool, as we’re expecting significant traffic on-site.
If you’re driving, please make note of the parking options below.

COMPETITOR FAQs
Who is eligible to play in the LT Open?
Open to members and non-members alike, the LT Open is built for the world's best singles pickleball players!
What is the cost to play in the LT Open?
The cost of the LT Open Championship is $199.00 for all competitors.
What is the tournament format?
Men’s Singles- Traditional scoring to 11, best 3/5, Win by two, Win on serve, Single elimination
Women’s Singles- Traditional scoring to 11, best 3/5, Win by two, Win on serve, Single elimination
What are the divisions for the LT Open?
The LT Open is separated only by gender, meaning no age divisions or skill divisions.
When will I know what time my first Match will start on the day of play?
Start times for each bracket will be updated on the event page on pickleballtournaments.com.
What ball will be used for the LT Open?
The LT Pro 48 Pickleball will be used for all LT Open matches.
What paddles are able to be played at the LT Open?
Any paddle that is currently on the UPA-A Pickleball list of certified paddles is eligible for play in the LT Open. Approved List HERE.
Will there be any paddle testing at the LT Open?
The Go NO Go Machine from Pickle Pro Labs will be used for onsite testing to keep paddles whose power exceeds specification out of competition.
The GNG Machine measures the flexibility of the face of the paddle, also known as Deflection. PPL has established a close correlation between Deflection and the Exit Velocity of the paddle as measured in their lab testing. (PEF- Paddle Efficiency Factor).
What are the Paddle Challenge Rules?
LT Open Paddle Challenge Rules
1. Player Responsibility:
Players must ensure their paddles comply with established standards. If a paddle is suspected to be non-compliant, players should voluntarily retire it. No penalties for doing so.
2. Pickle Pro Labs Testing:
Starting with the Main Draw round of 64, all paddles in the LT Open will be tested using the Go NO Go Machine by Pickle Pro Labs prior to play.
- Test: Paddle face is pressed down 1/16 of an inch.
- Pass: Takes 42 lbs or more of force.
- Fail: Takes less than 42 lbs of force.
- Why: Checks if the paddle face is too flexible (trampoline effect / extra power).
3. Opponent Challenge:
If a player believes their opponent's paddle is non-compliant:
- Request: Ask the opponent to switch paddles.
- Outcome: If the opponent agrees, no penalties. If they refuse, proceed to an official challeng
4. Official Challenge:
- Timing: Must occur during the match; no challenges allowed after the match ends.
- Submission: The challenged paddle must be handed to an official immediately.
- Testing: The paddle will be sent to the Pickle Pro Lab for analysis, with results provided within 15 minutes.
5. Challenge Outcomes:
If Paddle Compliant:
- The challenging player pays a $250 fine (increases with each subsequent failed challenge
If Paddle Non-Compliant:
- The offending player is disqualified.
- Athlete is not eligible for awards or prize money.
- Additional penalties may include warnings, or suspensions
Will results from LT Open matches be entered into DUPR?
Yes, tournament results will be entered into DUPR.
Will there be referees for any of the LT Open matches?
All LT Open Main Draw matches will have referees.
Will DUPR be required to register for the LT Open?
Yes, DUPR will be required to register for the LT Open.
Will a player be allowed to register for the LT Open if they do not have a SINGLEs specific DUPR Rating?
Yes, a player will be allowed to register for the LT Open if they do not have a reliable, Singles DUPR Rating.
While we are not “requiring” a DUPR rating for the LT Open , please keep in mind that this is geared toward the highest level of play. We are suggesting a minimum DUPR of 5.0, which means this is for seasoned, competitive players rather than recreational enthusiasts.
